What is it?
Fistula
A fistula is a thin tunnel between the inside of the back passage and the skin outside, usually after an abscess. It does not heal with medicine alone.
Symptoms
Do you have these?
- Pus or fluid from a small hole near the anus
- Boils or swelling near the anus that keep coming back
- Pain and itching
- Staining of underwear
